On
this page you will discover two unique and creative programs
focused on Kids.
Take a moment to view highlights from each show.
R.U. KIDding
R.U. KIDding was created and written by
Charles Jones II. In 1990, when the Children's
Television Act became a reality, Charles invested
$40,000 of his own money to create this program focusing
on the Choices kids make and the consequences
they face when they fail to Choose Wisely.
Four child actors, along with a variety of their friends, lived
out fascinating scenarios to entertain, educate and inform
their peers. This program ran on KFOR-NBC and Channel America.
SCRATCH TV
In 1995, following the bombing in Oklahoma City,
Charles Jones II was asked to produce a program
on the local NBC affilliate providing a voice for kids.
He was only told, " Don't spend any money doing it!"
From that charge came the show titled, at that time,"TV
Made From Scratch."
To save money it was aired live following the Saturday morning
news.
With a 16 year old host at the helm, this live, on the seat
of your pants
program, started from Scatch each Saturday morning. No one knew
what exactly was going to happen. They just knew it would be
a lot of fun.
Catch a view of this program and you'll discover what we mean.
