Subject: Being Thankful
Body: With so much going on in my life, long weekends always seem to be the best antidote for the toxic stress created by the tyranny of the urgent. Time away from the daily routine allows ones mind to pause and reflect on the important things in life. Taking time to focus on what we are thankful for and to view the world in a more positive light is always a blessing and a joy to behold. I know in time I will get back to that sense of urgency that controls the pulse of my life but for this moment I have decided the best and freshest choice is to just be thankful for who I am and what I have; for today those thoughts are more than enough to fill my cup with joy.
